Support for Political Asylum Appeals

Stay Safe Project Summary in Chinese

In view of the fact that many political asylum seekers have been rejected by the Home Office in the past, the Stay Safe Project will assist those from Hong Kong who have been refused asylum and do not qualify for legal aid to match with solicitors and barristers, and provide legal fee subsidies for the appeal process.

Legal fee subsidies

Services Do Not Include:

Immigration consultation

Living subsidies

Accommodation

If you have been refused political asylum by the Home Office and need solicitor matching, appeal process information and related services, please contact us on Telegram: @staysafe_hk

Once the matched solicitor officially take on the appeal case, a legal fee that is lower than the market rate would be charge
All the team members in the Stay Safe Project are volunteers and do not receive remunerations from the project.

Education and Employment Support Services

Next Step Program Summary in Chinese

HKARC provides education and employment support services for Hong Kong political asylum seekers and recognised refugees in the UK. Through one-on-one career coaching, CV refinement, and mock interviews, as well as experience sharing from industry professionals and students in higher education, we aim to empower individuals to successfully pursue their employment or education in the UK.
